Role Overview
Staff Solutions needs a Buyer who can step into a practical role in Kariega / Uitenhage. A key part of the work involves Buyer Degree/Diploma in Purchasing, Logistics, Commerce, Finance, Business Management or a technical qualification (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Quality, Operations or Pro.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the team by managing good understanding of financial analysis, costing, and business /project management.
- Keep momentum on solid negotiation, problem-solving, and conflict management skills.
- Take responsibility for the core day-to-day work expected of a Buyer.
- Work with colleagues, customers or suppliers to keep work moving and issues visible.
- Keep records, updates and handovers clear so decisions can be made with confidence.
Requirements
- Enough hands-on experience to understand the pace and standards of business management work.
- Clear communication and the confidence to work with different stakeholders.
- Sound judgement, ownership of assigned work and willingness to solve problems properly.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications will strengthen the application where required by the employer.
