Business Development & Sales Representative
Our International client is seeking an experienced and driven Sales Representative to join its Head Office team in Germiston.
This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who enjoys developing new business, building long-term customer relationships, and representing a premium industrial product range in the tooling and hardware industry.
You will manage customers across Central Johannesburg and surrounding areas while identifying opportunities to grow market share and achieve sales targets.

Salary: R negotiable dependent on experience plus medical aid, pension fund, car allowance and fuel card.

REQUIREMENTS
- Matric
- A proven hunter who enjoys opening new doors and developing business opportunities
- Strong ability to build credibility and establish lasting relationships with customers
- Experience selling technical, industrial, engineering, or business-to-business solutions
- Results-driven mindset with a passion for achieving and surpassing sales objectives
- Excellent planning and territory management capabilities
- Ability to understand customer needs and provide practical product recommendations
- Strong administrative skills with a focus on accurate reporting and follow-up
- Comfortable working independently and managing a sales pipeline from prospecting through to closing
- Proficiency in CRM systems and standard business software
- Fluency in English and Afrikaans
- Valid driver's lisence and own transport willingness to travel extensively as required
DUTIES
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market share and increase revenue
- Promote and sell the company's products and services to both new and existing customers
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through regular client visits and follow-up
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and performance objectives
- Prepare and submit accurate sales call reports and customer activity updates
- Address customer enquiries and provide product, pricing, and delivery information
- Monitor customer satisfaction levels and proactively resolve concerns
- Report customer complaints, product issues, and service-related concerns to management
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure efficient service delivery
- Assist with product deliveries when required
- Travel within the designated sales region, including bi-monthly visits to the Free State
