Business Development Manager (Sea & Air Freight)

Synopsis

A leading logistics environment is looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager with strong experience across sea freight and air freight forwarding to join their growing commercial team in Cape Town.

Key Responsibilities

Key Focus Areas:

• New business acquisition (air & sea freight)

• End-to-end freight solutions (imports & exports)

• Building and managing a strong client portfolio

• Driving revenue growth in a competitive market

• Collaborating with operations and pricing team

Qualifications / Minimum Requirements

What we’re looking for:

• Matric
• Drivers License
• Proven experience in freight forwarding sales (sea + air essential)
• Strong understanding of Incoterms, global trade, and logistics processes
• Ability to hunt, close, and retain key accounts
• Confident communicator with a commercial mindset
• Existing client relationships will be highly advantageous
