Business Development Manager

Our client is looking for a highly professional individual with a driven personality and attitude.  Must be able to sell a high-end product to a high-end clientele, PLUS a track record that radiates success.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Matric, with 3 – 5 years’ experience within a similar Sales environment
  • Driver’s license with own reliable transport
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, contractors and other stakeholders
  • Structured and organised, with the ability to plan and methodically execute sales activities
  • Knowledge of CRM software and ability to use it effectively to manage leads and track sales activities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bilingual in English and Afrikaans
  • Willing and able to travel to other provinces once a month
DUTIES
  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan by pursuing new business leads and achieving monthly sales targets
  • Proactively seek out new business opportunities and build a robust pipeline of leads
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments with clients to determine the best mobility solution unique to the client’s requirements and provide expert product knowledge and advice
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients and provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process
  • Collaborate with the installation team to ensure a smooth installation process for the client. Follow up with outstanding accounts promptly and take necessary steps to resolve any issues
  • Stay current with industry trends and developments and leverage this knowledge to position company as a leader in the market
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture and work closely with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Adhere to high ethical standards of behaviour in all aspects of your work, including honesty, accountability, and integrity
