We are expanding our sales team and are looking for an energetic, ambitious, and results-driven Business Development Executive to help grow our client base across South Africa and international markets.


Role Overview

The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying prospective clients, generating qualified leads, arranging product demonstrations, nurturing relationships, and converting opportunities into paying customers.

This is a high-impact role suited to someone who enjoys engaging with people, opening doors, and building long-term business relationships.


Key Responsibilities

• Identify and research prospective employers, recruitment agencies, and HR decision-makers.

• Generate leads through LinkedIn, email campaigns, cold outreach, networking, referrals, and industry events.

• Schedule and coordinate product demonstrations for prospective clients.

• Conduct discovery meetings to understand client requirements.

• Present MTV2’s solutions and value proposition.

• Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline using CRM tools.

• Follow up on leads and opportunities in a timely and professional manner.

• Prepare proposals and assist with contract negotiations.

• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

• Maintain accurate records of activities, opportunities, and client interactions.

• Represent MTV2 professionally in meetings, events, and online engagements.


Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in business development, sales, recruitment sales, SaaS sales, or account management.

• Proven track record of generating new business opportunities.

• Strong communication and presentation skills.

• Excellent relationship-building abilities.

• Self-motivated and target-driven.

• Comfortable using CRM systems, LinkedIn, Microsoft Office, and digital communication tools.

• Recruitment industry experience will be advantageous.

• Experience selling software or technology solutions will be highly beneficial.

Salary

R25,000 per month basic salary plus uncapped commission based on performance.
