Bookings Clerk
Our client is seeking a professional and customer-focused Bookings Clerk to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing customer service bookings, coordinating workshop appointments, and delivering exceptional customer service in line with dealership standards.
This role plays a key part in ensuring a seamless booking experience while contributing to the overall success and reputation of the dealership.

Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule service, maintenance, repair, and diagnostic appointments for customers.
- Answer incoming calls, emails, and online booking requests.
- Confirm appointments and send reminders to customers.
- Gather and accurately capture customer and vehicle information.
- Coordinate booking schedules with service advisors and workshop manager.
- Manage workshop capacity to optimize technician productivity.
- Follow up on missed appointments and reschedule where necessary.
- Inform customers about service campaigns, recalls, and maintenance requirements.
- Maintain accurate records on dealership management systems.
- Ensure compliance with dealership customer service standards.
- Assist with customer queries regarding service processes, estimated timelines, and dealership procedures.
- Support Service Advisors with administrative duties when required.
- Accurate filing of Job cards
- Processing of cash receipts
- Monitoring cash outstanding
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- 2-5 Years' experience in booking, reception, call centre, or administrative roles would be advantageous.
- Previous working experience in an automotive dealership or customer service environment essential
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office products.
- Familiarity with dealership management systems (such as Autoline or similar) would be highly beneficial.
- Own transport would be a plus.
