Key Responsibilities

Keep momentum on an opportunity has become available for a Blood Bank Technologist.
Keep momentum on the incumbent will perform routine testing functions in Blood Banks including but not limited to, compatibility, post natal and preliminary transfusion reaction investiga.
Support the team by managing to check and verify test results performed by Registered Blood Bank Technicians, Registered Trainee Technicians and Registered Student Technologists.
Take responsibility for the core day-to-day work expected of a Blood Bank Technologist.
Work with colleagues, customers or suppliers to keep work moving and issues visible.

Requirements

Relevant experience in technology or a closely related field.
Good planning habits, attention to detail and reliable follow-through.
Comfort working to agreed standards while adapting when operational needs change.
