REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant legal degree with 3–5 years of post-qualification experience
- Solid experience gained within a law firm, including legal research and investigative work
- Proficient in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex legal agreements and documents
- Proven track record of success in a legal advisory or practitioner role
- Strong expertise in conducting detailed legal research on complex matters
- Demonstrated experience representing organisations in legal proceedings, negotiations, and mediations
- Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively across departments and teams
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage and maintain legal documentation and records
- In-depth understanding of applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards relevant to the role
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of complex legal documents, contracts, and agreements
- Provide strategic legal advice and support to management and internal departments
- Conduct in-depth legal research to inform business decisions and ensure legal compliance
- Represent the company in legal proceedings, including court cases, negotiations, and mediations
- Develop, implement, and monitor legal policies and compliance frameworks
- Stay updated on changes in legislation and regulations, advising on their impact to the business
- Conduct legal risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies
- Supervise and mentor junior legal staff, offering guidance and oversight where required
- Respond promptly to legal queries from various departments across the organisation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on the legal aspects of business projects and initiatives
- Maintain accurate and organised legal documentation and records
- Participate in ongoing legal training and professional development to stay abreast of industry trends
