Role Overview

An asset-intensive operation is seeking an Asset Care Engineer to improve equipment reliability, availability and lifecycle performance.

This position combines day-to-day delivery with accurate administration, timely follow-through and professional coordination with the people and teams who rely on the role.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to take ownership of the following areas:

Develop and maintain asset-care strategies and maintenance plans. Maintain clear records, communicate progress and escalate exceptions promptly where required.
Identify critical assets, reliability risks and improvement opportunities. Maintain clear records, communicate progress and escalate exceptions promptly where required.
Coordinate condition monitoring, failure analysis and corrective actions. Maintain clear records, communicate progress and escalate exceptions promptly where required.

Requirements

Applicants should be able to demonstrate the following capabilities in a structured, deadline-driven working environment:

Degree or diploma in mechanical, electrical, industrial or related engineering. Apply sound judgement, dependable follow-through and a collaborative working style.
