About the Role

We are looking for a vigilant and disciplined Armed Response Officer to respond to security alarms, emergencies, and incidents while protecting people, property, and assets. You will patrol assigned areas, respond rapidly to call-outs, and ensure a safe and secure environment through professional and proactive security services.

What You'll Do

Respond promptly to alarm activations and emergency call-outs
Conduct patrols of residential, commercial, and industrial properties
Assess security incidents and take appropriate action to resolve them
Liaise with control room operators, clients, and emergency services
Complete incident reports and maintain accurate records
Inspect security systems and report faults or suspicious activity
Ensure compliance with company procedures and safety protocols
Provide professional customer service while maintaining a strong security presence

Requirements

Matric certificate (minimum requirement)
Valid PSIRA registration (required)
Firearm competency certificate and legal authorisation to carry a firearm (required)
Previous experience in armed response, security, or law enforcement is preferred
Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record
Strong observation, decision-making, and communication skills
Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
