Role Overview

An experienced Application Configuration Lead is required to take ownership of complex application configuration, solution design, and quality assurance. The role translates business requirements into robust configurations while guiding and developing a configuration team in a hybrid working model.

Responsibilities

Configure complex business applications, including workflows, fields, templates, roles, and permissions.
Translate business requirements into effective system solutions and document the resulting configuration.
Work with integrations, APIs, data feeds, and interconnected enterprise systems.
Establish configuration standards and review the quality and consistency of other configuration work.
Test, troubleshoot, investigate defects, and apply systems-thinking to configuration issues.
Guide configuration-team delivery and coach colleagues without formal management authority.
Support quality assurance and stakeholder engagement through the configuration lifecycle.

Requirements

At least five years' experience in enterprise application configuration, SaaS implementation, or a related role.
Strong hands-on experience with workflows, fields, templates, roles, permissions, and complex business applications.
Business analysis experience and the ability to translate requirements into system solutions.
Experience with integrations, APIs, data feeds, or interconnected enterprise systems.
Strong testing, troubleshooting, written, verbal, and stakeholder-engagement skills.
Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent practical experience.
