Aluminium Sales Representative

Are you a true industry specialist in glass and aluminium, with a deep understanding of products, systems, and applications?

Our client is seeking a driven and technically strong External Sales Representative with proven experience to grow their market presence, develop new business, and deliver tailored, high-impact solutions to fabricators, contractors, and key clients.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Matric, 
  • Valid drivers license and own transportation
  • 3 – 4 years’ experience in a similar industry
  • Exceptional customers communication and relationship skills
  • Strong closing sales skills and meeting sales targets
  • Customer relationship skills
  • Target and deadline driven 
 
DUTIES
  • Reporting to the Branch Manager
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retail clients within the glass and aluminium industry.
  • Promote and sell a range of products including large glass panels, custom-cut glass, and related aluminium solutions
  • Identify new business opportunities and actively grow the customer base in your assigned territory
  • Conduct regular client visits to understand their needs, provide product recommendations, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Negotiate pricing and terms in line with company guidelines to close deals and meet or exceed sales targets
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform sales strategy and product development
  • Prepare and submit accurate sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback to management on a regular basis
  • Collaborate with internal departments (production, logistics, customer service) to ensure smooth delivery and after-sales support
  • Attend trade shows, industry events, and product training sessions as required to stay updated on product offerings and market developments.
  • Manage time effectively, planning routes and appointments to maximize daily productivity and territory coverage
 
Salary: R negotiable dependent on experience
