Our client is seeking a driven and technically strong External Sales Representative with proven experience to grow their market presence, develop new business, and deliver tailored, high-impact solutions to fabricators, contractors, and key clients.
REQUIREMENTS
- Matric,
- Valid drivers license and own transportation
- 3 – 4 years’ experience in a similar industry
- Exceptional customers communication and relationship skills
- Strong closing sales skills and meeting sales targets
- Customer relationship skills
- Target and deadline driven
DUTIES
- Reporting to the Branch Manager
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retail clients within the glass and aluminium industry.
- Promote and sell a range of products including large glass panels, custom-cut glass, and related aluminium solutions
- Identify new business opportunities and actively grow the customer base in your assigned territory
- Conduct regular client visits to understand their needs, provide product recommendations, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Negotiate pricing and terms in line with company guidelines to close deals and meet or exceed sales targets
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform sales strategy and product development
- Prepare and submit accurate sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback to management on a regular basis
- Collaborate with internal departments (production, logistics, customer service) to ensure smooth delivery and after-sales support
- Attend trade shows, industry events, and product training sessions as required to stay updated on product offerings and market developments.
- Manage time effectively, planning routes and appointments to maximize daily productivity and territory coverage
