Aircon Technician (Electrical Trade)

Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission, service, and repair air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration systems.

• Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on HVAC equipment.

• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and carry out repairs efficiently.

• Perform fault-finding on electrical control circuits, motors, compressors, and associated equipment.

• Test electrical components using appropriate diagnostic tools.

• Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams, technical drawings, and manuals.

• Replace faulty electrical and mechanical components as required.

• Ensure compliance with electrical regulations and safety standards.

• Maintain accurate service reports, maintenance records, and job cards.

• Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergency call-outs.

• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles.

• Provide professional customer service.

• Ensure compliance with OHS policies.
