The role is suited to someone who can bring discipline, judgement and steady execution to bringing accuracy, control and clear commercial thinking to the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

Take ownership of Parktown Assist with general HR and Accounting processes and admin.
Keep momentum on sage Intacct Accounting will be an advantage.
Keep momentum on nQF Level 6 Accreditation ( Accounting diploma).
Take responsibility for the core day-to-day work expected of a Accounting Assistant (Maternity fill - contract - with possible going to perm) - Parktown.
Work with colleagues, customers or suppliers to keep work moving and issues visible.

Requirements

Relevant experience in accounting or a closely related field.
Good planning habits, attention to detail and reliable follow-through.
Comfort working to agreed standards while adapting when operational needs change.
Relevant qualifications or certifications will strengthen the application where required by the employer.
