Accountant (Manufacturing)

Mid-level Accountant to join a finance team within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
You will play a key role in supporting finance operations, including accounting processes, reporting, reconciliations, and cost accounting within a manufacturing setting.



Must Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 5 years’ accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and finance operations
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions
• Strong Excel skills (Microsoft Office proficient)
• SAP experience advantageous
• Experience in cost accounting (materials, labour, and overhead) within a manufacturing environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Strong organisational and time management ability

 

Your Key Focus Areas

• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare financial statements and management reports
• Assist with cost accounting and production cost tracking
• Support budgeting and financial analysis activities
• Maintain accurate financial records and system data
• Assist with audit preparation and compliance requirements
• Ensure accurate processing and reporting of financial transactions
• Support finance operations within a manufacturing environment
• Maintain compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
• Contribute to financial accuracy, efficiency, and reporting integrity
