ATS Test is hiring a Accountant in Port Elizabeth. The role is suited to someone who can bring discipline, judgement and steady execution to bringing accuracy, control and clear commercial thinking to the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

Support the team by managing position Outputs Month end and General ledger Recon Processing (park/post) of accurate and proper accounting journals in the SAP general ledger according to IFRS.
Support the team by managing monthly reconciliation of general ledger recons and reports that are under responsibility of financial accounting function.
Take ownership of Identify, implement, and establish GL accounting initiatives to optimize financial performance.
Take responsibility for the core day-to-day work expected of a Accountant.
Work with colleagues, customers or suppliers to keep work moving and issues visible.

Requirements

5 years of relevant experience
Clear communication and the confidence to work with different stakeholders.
Sound judgement, ownership of assigned work and willingness to solve problems properly.
Relevant qualifications or certifications will strengthen the application where required by the employer.
Comfort with the systems, tools or technical platforms mentioned in the source role.
