An established logistics company in Westmead is seeking an experienced Accountant with a background in the logistics industry.

The ideal candidate will have strong financial management skills and a thorough understanding of logistics operations.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the logistics or supply chain industry.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, cost accounting, and tax compliance.
Proficiency in accounting software such as Pastel, SAP, or QuickBooks.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Experience with import/export regulations and logistics finance is an advantage.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee financial transactions related to logistics and supply chain operations.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
Monitor and control transportation and warehouse costs.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
Perform cost analysis and identify areas for cost reduction.
Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial records.
Work closely with logistics and operations teams to improve financial efficiency.
Manage accounts payable and receivable related to logistics services.
Assist with audits and financial risk assessments.
