Role Overview

This Accountant opportunity in Cape Town gives the right candidate a chance to work in accounting with clear responsibilities and visible impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Keep momentum on bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or Commerce (BCom Accounting or equivalent) — mandatory (NQF7).
• Support the team by managing completed SAICA articles (CA(SA)) or SAIPA learnership preferred; or equivalent professional accounting qualification (CIMA).
• Support the team by managing honours degree or postgraduate diploma in Accounting (CTA / HDip Acc) is an advantage.
• Take responsibility for the core day-to-day work expected of a Accountant.
• Work with colleagues, customers or suppliers to keep work moving and issues visible.

Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of relevant experience
• Good planning habits, attention to detail and reliable follow-through.
• Comfort working to agreed standards while adapting when operational needs change.
• Relevant qualifications or certifications will strengthen the application where required by the employer.
