Account Manager - IT Industry

Our client, a leading IT company based in Cape Town, is seeking an experienced and results-driven Account Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• Diploma or Degree in Business Management, Sales, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Account Manager, Sales Executive, Business Development Executive, or similar role within the IT industry.
• Strong understanding of IT products, services, and solutions.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple client accounts effectively.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
• Experience working with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver's license and own reliable transport.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow existing client accounts.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
• Prepare and present proposals and quotations.
• Work closely with technical and support teams to deliver client solutions.
• Achieve sales and revenue targets.
• Provide regular account updates and market feedback.
